Staff Training: The school will be closed on Tuesday the 4th of November 2025 to facilitate whole staff training on the new child protection procedures.
As part of our Wellbeing Week, 3rd & 4th Classes visited the residents in Dunboyne Nursing Home on Friday 24th May. The children sang a variety of songs such as 'Wild Mountain Thyme', 'Ellis Island', 'Amazing Grace', 'Let it be' and 'Countryroads' which the residents joined in with. Some of the girls in 3rd & 4th class who practice Irish dancing as an extra-curricular activity danced the two-hand easy reel, the slip jig and the heavy jig for the residents also. The children received some delightful snacks afterwards. A thoroughly enjoyable day was had be all. Thank you to Fitzsimmons Buses for sponsoring our journey to and from the school.
