Today we enjoyed a very informative talk online about water safety. The talk was hosted by the RNLI. There were lots of schools present from all over the island of Ireland. Water Safety is an extremely important topic of conversation in all classrooms especially as we approach the summer holidays. The children responded very well to all questions about water safety and have a great understanding about what to do if they find themselves in danger in the water. The children then completed a poster in their SESE copybooks about the knowledge that they have regarding water safety. A big thank you to the RNLI for hosting this important talk and for inviting all schools to take part.
