The children of 5th and 6th Class began their reading buddies initiative last week with the children of Junior and Senior Infants in a move that was well received by all students. There was tremendous excitement at the calling of the pairings and fantastic reading skills on show thereafter with each child really taking to the task.
It was heartwarming to see such links created and effort given and we look forward to many more interactions before the year concludes.
