It’s Maths Week in St. Joseph’s National School, and our Junior and Senior Infants have been exploring and playing with a wide range of exciting maths resources.
The children have been making shape patterns and funny shape faces, measuring how tall they are, and experimenting with Numicon. They have been threading colourful beads to make patterns, spotting shapes and numbers in their environment, tracing numbers, and creating imaginative shape pictures.
It has been a fun-filled week of hands-on learning, discovery, and creativity — helping our youngest learners see that maths is all around us!
