Liz teaches Infants about biodiversity
27th Nov 2025
The Junior and Senior Infants had a wonderful visit from Liz, who taught us all about biodiversity. We explored local trees and leaves, investigated animal bones and a bumblebee through a magnifying glass, and enjoyed looking through her fantastic nature books and posters. Outside, we collected textured natural objects and used them to make clay imprints that will become Christmas decorations or necklaces. We even listened to and felt different shells. The children loved singing We Are the Wild Ones and were captivated by Liz’s fascinating facts about nature, trees, the sea, and all living things.
