Today we welcomed back our STEAM facilitator Niamh Gregory to Mulhussey N.S. As we are participating in First Lego League again this year, Niamh did a workshop with us to introduce us to the next theme- Submerged! First, we did some warm-up activities with our sets of Six Bricks before brainstorming our ideas for the new theme. Lots of new and exciting vocabulary was explored such as 'barnacles', 'blue whales', 'shipwrecks' and 'coral' before we got to work, building our creative pieces. Thank you Niamh for visiting us and for all your help- we can't wait to get our new Lego workbooks and get started on the Submerged lessons!
