For the past fortnight, the children of 5th and 6th Class have been researching and creating their own books on iconic figures in Irish history from 1798-1916.
Placed into teams, the children have been heroic in their attitude and determination to create as best a book as they could publish on the twenty names they were tasked with, with names like James Connolly, Robert Emmett and James to list but a few. It was fantastic to see their final publications and all are to be commended wholly for their efforts.
