Down Syndrome Day awarenss
20th Mar 2026
Today we wore odd socks to school in honour of Down Syndrome day. Children around the school wore bright socks with a variety of patterns to raise awareness of our family and friends with Down Syndrome. Ms. Kearns’ class decorated socks to give them to children they know with Down Syndrome. We showed photos of Katie-Rose and Ruth’s family member who took part in the special olympics. Ms. Murray’s class spent most of the day in class with no shoes on showing off their colourful socks!
