The children of 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Class visited the Dead Zoo today. The zoo has taken up temporary residence in Collins Barracks and we were delighted to avail of the guided tour by our hosts.
A hugely informative lesson and some fantastic contributions by the class goers throughout showing off their incredible knowledge in the area.
We also took the time to visit the museum in the barracks. We visited The Soldiers and Chiefs section, The Airgead collection and the exhibition on the GAA to name but a few of the areas.
