On Wednesday last, the 19th of November, children from the school attended a Cross Country event in Fairyhouse. Braving the cold conditions, our group of talented children performed admirably in tough conditions to finish in hugely respectable finishing positions.
All are members of the local St. Cocas Athletics Club and it showed as they tactically navigated the course.
Tara Fagan ended 3rd in her U-11 race and Holly Fagan pipped 1st place at the line to win her U-13 race. Credit to the girls and all runners in a fantastically well run event.
Well done to all. The school is very proud of you.
