The Junior and Senior Infants have been having great fun using LEGO while developing their maths skills. Working in teams, the children sorted LEGO pieces into their own categories. Some groups sorted by size, such as big and small, while others chose categories like land and water or organised the animals into different areas of their zoo.
The children showed fantastic teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills as they discussed their ideas and worked together. It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, imagination, and mathematical thinking in action!
